We are committed to providing training and personal development for all employees to ensure that all staff achieve their full potential and are able to contribute to the continued growth and success of the Company in a constantly changing market.

We recognise that our employees are our greatest asset; we are committed to investing in people to ensure they are able to use their skills to their maximum potential in furtherance of the objectives of the Company. We therefore place appropriate emphasis on training, taking care to ensure that this is of appropriate quality and directly relevant to our staff and their roles within the Company.

Michael Dyson Associates Ltd are an aproved training organisation with both the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and CIOB (Chartered Instituteof Building)

The Company’s training activities fall into four distinct categories:

  1. In house training specifically designed sessions and procedural/technical memoranda for particular groups of staff.
  2. External training ad hoc courses and conferences attended by staff on an individual basis with outside agencies.
  3. Vocational training for staff seeking professional qualifications, through day release, correspondence course including assessment of professional competence & subsequent election to membership of a relevant institute.
  4. Student training (undergraduates, trainees and students) working in the Company to gain experience whilst undertaking development training.

All employees participate in the Personal Performance and Development Appraisal System. This is a formal process whereby each employee discusses with their Appraiser their performance to date together with ways in which their performance can be improved.
