Reporting to one of our Directors, this position will be based at our Head Office in Honley, Huddersfield.
Your role will be to oversee a team of 10 Project Managers and support staff delivering projects for Clients throughout the UK involving design, procurement, contract administration, employers agent and CDM Co-ordinator services. You will be ‘hands on’ and Client facing with responsibility for the efficient management and collection of fees along with Client care and the identification and handling of ongoing business development opportunities.
It is likely you will have worked in a similar role in a consultancy environment, or possibly with a design and build contractor.
You will need to demonstrate:
• Knowledge of working relationships in the social housing sector
• Construction Industry degree level qualification
• Membership of (or progression towards) RICS or CIOB
• Minimum 12 years relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to articulate well in a written format on commercial matters
• Comprehensive keyboard and IT skills
• Tenacity and determination to succeed and demonstrate leadership
• An understanding of JCT/NEC/PPC Forms of Contract and RIBA & RICS Consultancy Forms of Appointment.
