Involvement in local communities is of fundamental importance to Michael Dyson Associates Limited. We believe that helping communities is not something we simply choose to do, but is actually a requirement of our business.
We understand that local businesses and communities are closely linked and that we can have a significant impact on society as a whole. This is equally relevant in both the schemes we work on and in the everyday running of our business.
Incorporating the views and aspirations of residents affected by building works and the local community at large is an integral part of providing better homes and improving areas, with the process being followed throughout the life of a project.
The company supports both its employees in various fund raising activities and a number of national and local charities including St Martin’s House Children’s Hospice, Kirkwood Hospice, Help The Aged providing local people with Christmas Lunches and Cancer Research.
We have established good links with local schools, colleges and employment agencies where suitable positions will be advertised. As well as a regular annual intake of college leavers and graduates, we have positions available for local school leavers, work experience students and we are an accredited training organisation with both the RICS and CIOB.
