Housing Quality Indicators Assessments
Housing Quality Indicators (HQIs) measure the quality of housing schemes funded by the HCA against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The HQI system is a measurement and assessment tool used to evaluate housing schemes on the basis of quality of life (rather than just cost) and incorporates a series of Design Standards required of affordable housing providers receiving HCA funding. The indicators range from the quality of the actual living space to the availability of services and amenities within the area of the development.
Michael Dyson Associates Ltd works closely with clients to produce designs which ensure satisfactory compliance with HQI without impinging on the viability of the project, giving proper consideration to the design of homes within the context of the way they are used and the environment within which they sit.
