Measured Building Surveying

Michael Dyson Associates Ltd has extensive experience of undertaking measured building surveys to provide drawings for a range of building situations.

Typical outputs include floor plans, building elevations, sections, attribute records, all dimensioned and annotated. Our surveyors produce accurate drawings for a wide variety of building types ranging from single small terraced houses, multi variant social housing, extra care homes, high and low rise flatted blocks, to non housing assets and corporate buildings.

Our surveys meet the requirements of the Code of Practice for Architects and Designers undertaking refit, planned extensions and internal layout designs. Levels of detail range from basic dimensions including masons’ openings to fully detailed components and finishings surveys. We can also incorporate asset information consistent with business planning requirements and Property Performance Indicators.

Our plans and elevations are typically produced at scales of 1:50 or 1:100 with details in 1:20 or 1:10 scales. Data is supplied in hard or soft copy (AutoCAD DWG/ PDF).
