CDM Co-ordinator

“Michael Dyson Associates Ltd has always managed contracts for its clients with the utmost regard for health and safety. With both incarnations of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations we have striven to drive forward safety in design, construction and maintenance in our roles as Planning Supervisors and now as CDM Co-ordinators”

We provide CDM Co-ordinator services as part of a wider project involvement and as a discrete consultancy arrangement. All our CDM Co-ordinators are Registered Members of the Association for Project Safety (APS) and entitled to use the RMaPS designation. The company is also a Corporate Member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS). All staff within our design team attended CDM refresher training sessions to ensure they understand their responsibility as designers.

Our specialist engineering knowledge allows us to appreciate the design, maintenance and structural needs of non traditional construction and high rise projects; something that may be lacking from other CDM Co-ordinators’ portfolios. Needless to say we also have the ability and competence to act as CDM Co-ordinator on more traditional construction projects including new build, refurbishment and demolition.

In driving forward the cause of project safety we can provide the following related services and skills including those that go beyond the services defined by the Approved Code of Practice. We seek to impart knowledge, experience and understanding to all members of the project team, clients and contractors.

Our Quality Management Systems ensure that our processes and activities align with the Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and Official Guidance. We always offer a cost effective service whilst following all regulatory requirements (and wherever possible add value) to the project for the benefit of clients, contractors and end user.
