James is a qualified Building Surveyor and joined Michael Dyson Associates Ltd following a successful industry placement with the company. With over 12 years at Michael Dyson Associates Ltd, James is now an Associate within the Contract Administration team and plays a central role in delivering building projects including refurbishment and new build developments across the country for a variety of clients.
With specialist knowledge in the administration of various forms of building contracts, James is particularly skilled in managing pre-construction activities including procurement, tender processes, design co-ordination, preparation of contract documents, and programme planning—to ensure projects are set up for success. Throughout the construction phase, James remains closely involved, overseeing quality, progress, and cost management to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
In addition to project responsibilities, James supports the day-to-day leadership of the contract administration team, promoting collaboration and service excellence.
