During National Apprenticeship Week, we caught up with Liam Walton who is currently working within our Asset Management Team and in his first year of a Degree Apprenticeship in Building Surveying at Leeds Beckett University.
We asked Liam to provide us with an insight on why he chose to an apprenticeship and how he felt it was benefitting him:
“I chose to do an apprenticeship because it offers theory based & hands-on training/real-world experience whilst being supported by both the university and my employer in helping me to achieve my RICS accreditation at the end of the course. The apprenticeship has provided me with practical skills as well as giving me networking opportunities with other apprentices in different areas of the industry.”
