Following the guidance issued by the Construction Leadership Council, our Employers Agents, Clerk of Works and CDM Principal Designers are working closely with our clients and contractors to ensure sites are being safely suspended during the Coronavirus outbreak. Alongside our advice relating to H&S, we are providing advice on commercial and contractual matters relating to site suspension, as well as advising on safety measures for those sites remaining in operation, ensuring the latest industry site operating procedures are being implemented and adhered to. A key consideration is ensure that sites can recommence operations promptly once the restrictions are lifted and in line with our CDM Regulation obligations we are reviewing construction phase plans and method statements to ensure contractors are prepared and considering the management of risk.
