Nature of Works Undertaken

Michael Dyson Associates Ltd was appointed via the Yorkshire Housing Consultants Framework to provide Employers Agent services in connection with the development of 23 new homes for shared ownership on a small brownfield site in Huddersfield.

Yorkshire Housing agreed to purchase the site from Termrim Construction  who would remain with the scheme as the Principal Contractor.

Our EA services were provided in line with the Schedule of Services as detailed within the Consultants Framework.  

Services Provided

Employers Agent services through pre-contract negotiations and post-contract stages included:

• Liaison between Contractor and Client
• Production and issuing of Contract Documents
• Organising and chairing of meetings
• Feasibility/OA/Budget Cost Reports
• Assistance with planning applications
• Value for money statement
• Ensure quality control and that timescales are adhered to
• Agreeing and issuing contract instructions
• Issuing of Payment Certificates
• Issuing of certificate of Making Good Defects
