Following a comprehensive procurement process we are delighted to be appointed to assist Kirklees Council with this exciting scheme which will support their vision to become Carbon Neutral by 2038; Kirklees Council provide homes to 23,000 tenants and residents and have an extremely varied housing stock which includes both rural and urban properties of traditional and non-traditional construction.
Our services include provision of multi-disciplinary project teams spanning all disciplines, Six Facet Surveys, BIM Services, Planning, Business Case Authoring, Estates Strategy, Preparing and Issuing Tender Documentation, NEC Supervisor and Clerks of Works duties etc.
The initial project, a pilot of eight units, will demonstrate that we can provide thermally efficient housing by successfully retrofitting existing stock to achieve SAP band B as minimum. It will act as a gateway to incorporating energy retrofit measures into the Council’s ongoing 30 year decency programme and enable them to understand the most effective measures to eradicate fuel poverty and associated impacts on households and properties throughout the built environment.
